Past the Haut Aurès and the Ziban, the Sahara opens up and becomes grandiose. In the background, the snow-capped peaks give this
journey a unique atmosphere. Through the oasis of Témacine and the old ksour of Baldat Amor, this hike takes us to
Erg Gamara and Ghouat and the landscapes made up of sandy passes, fossils and plateaus assailed by colorful dunes
changing. We also discover the oases and traditional life on the edge of the desert. A hike and a night in a
typical and traditional inn, in the palm grove of the Righ wadi will complete this trip between Sahara and oasis.

Day 01
EUROPE - CONSTANTINE
Arrival in Constantine
Airport reception.
Transfer and installation at the hotel in half board.
Day 02
CONSTANTINE - SÉTIF - DJEMILA - Zana - Medracen - Batna
Departure for Sétif, visit of the city and continuation to Djemila, visit of the Roman ruins and the museum.
Lunch at the hotel (3*).
Afternoon, departure for Zana, visit of the archaeological site and continuation to Medragcen Berber Mausoleum.
Day 03
BATNA - BISKRA
Departure on El Kantara, visit of the natural site then continuation on Biskra, visit of the city.
Lunch at the Zibans hotel. Afternoon, departure for Village Ami tyoyar
Biskra - the el Kantara gorges - El Oued (320 km - approx 5h)
After breakfast we take the road to the Oued valley and the gorges of El Kantara "Eugène Fromentin described as
"a narrow tear that looks like it was made by human hands, in an enormous wall of rocks, of three or four hundred
of elevation". Photo stop on the unforgettable Roman bridge where Napoleon III had his effigy and his name engraved during his visit. Back
in Biskra where the high plateaus rub shoulders with the Sahara. From Arab domination to Arab domination since the invasion of Sidi Okba, the
founder of Kairouan and the great conqueror of North Africa, the oasis of Biskra was conquered by the Turks, then occupied by
Abd el-Kader and the French. The 200,000 palm trees of the Porte du Sahara go all the way to the center of the city. Continuation towards
from El Oued, capital of Souf, through the sand dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental. Stop en route at Shotts el Melghir (salt lakes). There
brightly colored city appears like an island in the middle of the sea of sand. Arrival at El Oued. Installation at the hotel
(3*). Dinner and night.
Day 04
BISKRA - TOUGGOURT - TÉMACINE - El OUED - GUEMAR
Departure for Témacine and Tamelhat, visit of the oasis, then continuation to El Oued. Stop along the way to contemplate the "sea
sand".
Lunch at El Oued. Afternoon, visit of El Oued and Guemar.
• Dinner and accommodation at the hotel le Souf.
Day 05-06
El OUED - BISKRA - Batna par Ghoufi
After breakfast, departure for Biskra then continuation to Ghoufi, stop en route and lunch in Beniane.
Afternoon devoted to the visit of the magnificent natural site of Ghoufi. Continuation to Batna, visit en route to the archaeological territory of Lambèse (Tazoult).
Dinner and accommodation at the Chelia hotel.
Day 07
BATNA - DJEBEL CHÉLIA - TIMGAD
Departure on Jebel Chelia. Hiking and visit of Mount Ras Keltoum (2329m) panorama.
Lunch at the inhabitant and folk festival.
Afternoon, return and branch off to Timgad, visit of the Roman and Byzantine ruins and the museum.
Dinner and accommodation at the 3* hotel.
Day 08
Départ EUROPE
Breakfast.
Transfer to Constantine or Batna airport.
Departure assistance.
