On the borders of the extreme south of Algeria, 200 km south of Djanet, near Libya and Niger, stretches the formidable maze of the Tadrart: one of the most beautiful regions of the central Sahara. You discover, along the way, one of the most fantastic landscapes of the Sahara with its unprecedented colors of sand and its vertiginous dunes, its immense canyons with sculpted cliffs, its impressive arches, its peaks with shapes defying the imagination, its superimposed gueltas. .. If you want to experience the sensations that the desert offers, without the constraints of bivouac life, this trip is made for you. Every morning you set off aboard your 4x4 to discover the spectacular geological treasures embedded in this part of the desert: high mountainous reliefs, volcanic massifs, steep cliffs, immense crystalline plateaus covered in lava …and every evening you return to the comfort of your hotel. A gentle expedition, which will give you beautiful emotions and will leave you with lasting memories.
Itineraries
Day 01
EUROPE - DJANET - TIN ARSSOUI
Flight to Djanet, on a scheduled flight via Algiers. Reception and support on arrival at the airport by our local Tuareg team. Access formalities to the Tassili National Park and transfer by 4x4 towards the rock stench of Tin Arssoui
Installation of the bivouac. Overnight in Tin Arssoui.
Day 02
IMAHARHATEN - TISSETTEKA - TIN-ABADENE - OUAN N AHAR
After breakfast, departure towards Tadrart in 4x4 via the Imaharhaten plateau, which we will cross via a bumpy track, with here and there on our route, wide and wooded wadis. We will progress along the In-Djaren canyon (entrance to the Tadrart) to the Tissetteka site. Our trek will begin along this canyon. We will visit the site of Tin-Abadene with its rock carvings representing giraffes, elephants, etc.

Day 03
IN-DJAREN - TEHE TAHOUSSAITE - MOUL N’AGA
After breakfast, we will follow the immense canyon of In-Djaren which will reveal to us a succession of impressive landscapes and beautiful rock engravings visible on the walls. We will then appreciate the beauty of the Téhé Tahoussaîte site with its impressive arches, before reaching Moul N'aga and its dune setting in flamboyant colors.

Day 04
MOUL N'AGA - OUAN -ZAOUATEN - TIN-TIKEL - IN-TEHAQ
After breakfast, stroll through this immense setting, which will reveal a succession of Tassilian landscapes, through the dunes of Moul N'aga, Ouan Zaouten and the rock engravings of Tin-Tikel, before reaching the magnificent site of In - Tehaq.

Day 05
IN-TEHAQ - TIN-MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we will travel through an almost entirely red mineral universe to reach the immense circus of Tin Merzouga, whose perfectly shaped dunes are dotted with small peaks and sandstone castles. We will bivouac at the foot of the dunes, in this grandiose setting, where you will witness an impressive sunset.
Dinner and night in Tin Merzouga.
Day 06
TIN-MERZOUGA - IMESNEGHA - IN-DJAREN - ERG ADJALATI
Breakfast. After the dune scenery of Tin-Merzouga and its sandstone mushrooms, we will arrive at the surprising site of Imesnegha, original for its caves polished by erosion.
After lunch, we will travel in 4x4 along the canyon of In-Djaren (where you will discover magnificent cave paintings) to Erg Adjalati which marks the exit of the Tadrart.
Installation of the bivouac. Dinner and night in Erg Adjalati.
Day 07
IMAHARHATEN - TEGHARGHART - DJANET
After breakfast, return by 4x4 to Djanet via the Imaharhaten plateau. Visit the city and the famous rock carvings of the crying cow in Tégharghart.
Lunch during the visits.
Setting up the bivouac. Dinner and night in Tégharghat.
Day 08
DJANET - EUROPE
Breakfast.
Free day to enjoy the sights of the city and relax.
Depending on the flight schedule, transfer with assistance to Djanet airport. Flight to Europe on a regular flight via Algiers.
